The credit crisis has turned Bank of America from a strong, stable corporation into a company struggling under the weight of acquisitions made during the height of the crisis.

FT.com charts the last three years of the bank from the departure of their long-serving chief financial officer Al de Molina in 2006, through the controversial acquisition of Merrill Lynch to the early departure of their chief executive, Ken Lewis.
